Product details
German photographer Anja Jensen (*1967) explores the themes of surveillance and being watched in her photographic works and installations. Since 2001, she has staged eerie scenes at real locations in nature or urban environments during twilight and under artificial light, straddling the line between voyeurism and criminological observation. These magically enigmatic representations, reminiscent of film stills, depict individuals or groups engaged in ambiguously mysterious activities, as if caught in the act. The subjects are meticulously prepared by the artist. Unknown situations often serve as the foundation for ideas that evolve into an imaginary narrative through the close collaboration between the protagonists from diverse backgrounds and the artist.
