In Switzerland, a differentiated system of child and youth welfare has developed, but there is still little reliable knowledge available about it. Fortunately, child and youth welfare in Switzerland has increasingly become the subject of empirical research in recent years. This publication provides an initial overview of the state of research. The volume presents results from selected research projects, making their questions accessible in a compact and understandable form and discussing them in light of developments in practice. By pointing beyond the national context, the contributions promote the connectivity of professional discourses to other contexts of German-speaking child and youth welfare research.
