As part of this research work, a solution was sought that provides an economical and efficient alternative to conventional trusses for the use of truss beams in industrial timber construction, especially when spanning large distances. Experimental investigations were conducted to examine the load capacities of offset and dovetail joints, as well as the load behavior of connections with threaded rods screwed into cross-laminated timber.
