The dissertation describes methods and techniques for the realization of a fully integrated radar sensor in the frequency range above 100 GHz. The high frequency range allows for the integration of antennas and a radar IC into a common chip package, as the antenna has dimensions similar to the IC itself due to the millimeter-wave wavelength. This integration results in a complete high-frequency system within the package.
