Animals around the world are colorful and diverse: they can be small or large, eat meat, fish, or plants, and they can fly, run, waddle, and stomp. Some have sharp teeth, some have long necks or pouches, and some live in water, while others live in trees or on land. In this project folder, children will learn how and where animals live around the world, what they are called, and how different they look. They will create an animal book, play animal memory games, and make animal researcher IDs. They will also hear about endangered species and learn how important it is to protect animal habitats.
