Product details
The Weserbergland is a low mountain range located on both sides of the Weser River between Hann. Münden and Porta Westfalica. The largest contiguous forest area in the Weserbergland is found in the Solling and continues southward into the Reinhardswald, on the left bank of the Weser, and the Bramwald, on the right bank. The 520 km long Weser Cycle Path, awarded a 4-star quality rating, runs along the Weser Valley and, together with the regional cycling network, offers diverse opportunities to explore the Weserbergland by bike. The award-winning quality path, the Weserberglandweg, predominantly follows natural trails from Hann. Münden to Porta Westfalica, covering approximately 225 km through the Weserbergland and forming the central route in a dense network of hiking trails. The new 3rd edition of the tear- and weather-resistant cycling and hiking map 'Weserbergland - northern part' presents the region from Minden - Bückeburg to Hameln and Holzminden to Stadtoldendorf at a scale of 1:50,000, showcasing the cycling and hiking trail network. A UTM grid allows for the use of a GPS device, and the integrated terrain shading visualizes the low mountain range.
