For ten years now, the KLANGSPUREN festival has been offering children and young people between the ages of 8 and 18 a platform for active, experience-oriented and experimental music-making within the framework of its music-making and composing workshop KLANGSPUREN LAUTSTARK. In this practice-oriented book, composer and music educator Catherine Milliken now shares and reflects on the experiences and materials that have been accumulated in ten "loud" editions as a team. Among other things, she is concerned with - awakening interest in new sounds and stimulating the imagination, - providing a safe platform for composing in a group, - developing musical skills in group play, - experiencing music with the whole body, and - promoting conscious listening. The volume, which is equipped with extensive sheet music and instructions, is aimed at all those who are interested in making music.
