The World Economic Forum, based in the Swiss canton of Geneva, has managed to become a hub of global power since its founding in 1971. For over 50 years, it has brought together leaders from politics, business, science, media, trade unions, NGOs, culture, and churches, networking them with one another and connecting them with the wealthiest people in the world. Additionally, for more than 30 years, it has been educating the corporate and political elite of the world. Whether it’s Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, or Jack Ma from the business world, or Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, Viktor Orban, or Vladimir Putin from politics – they have all gone through the WEF's programs as "Global Leaders for Tomorrow" or "Young Global Leaders." It’s no wonder that the founder of the forum, German professor Klaus Schwab, is considered one of the most influential figures of our time. But how far does his influence extend?
