Product details
What does the digital world do to our minds? Nine teenagers stand on the brink between reality and virtuality, acceleration and deceleration: Erik, Stanko, Emily, Bea, Lenny, Annika, Nina, Li, and Henk stumble and race toward adulthood. They are gifted and truant, at risk of suicide and struggling with anorexia, activists and computer nerds, self-promoters and the invisible, whose realities blur with digital possibilities. Nine prisoners of their own worlds, for whom there seem to be only a few moments of friendship and authenticity. What begins as a wreath of isolated perspectives transforms into a finely branched whole, where everything interacts in surprising ways and gradually condenses into a shared fate: a journey to the edges of the digital world, from which no click leads back.
