Johannes Brahms' late piano pieces have been a cornerstone of the Henle catalog since the early 1950s, available in two editions: HN 36 (paperback) and HN 37 (cloth). In 2011, the new complete edition of Brahms was released, which includes the volume of piano pieces (HN 6014), successfully establishing a new musicological foundation for the edition of these important works. After our urtext editions of Op. 76, 79, and 116-119 have already been published in individual issues in line with the complete edition, we are now concluding this Brahms project with the publication of the revised collected volume, available in classic paperback, high-quality cloth, or as a handy study edition. This is an invitation to all who wish to rediscover Brahms' fascinating piano cosmos.
