Stabilisierende Psychotherapie in akuten Krisen

Product details
The new treatment approach of stabilizing psychotherapy is specifically designed for individuals in threatening life crises or acute psychotic episodes. The primary goals are to feel safe in the present and to regain the coordinates of one's life, which are best conveyed through interpersonal contact. The concept is based on the principles of the PITT program (Luise Reddemann) and modifies it to meet the needs of patients in psychiatry and therapeutic emergency care. Psychotherapists frequently encounter individuals in such severe emotional crises that outpatient psychotherapy, guided by standard procedures, initially seems impossible. Nevertheless, these individuals require not only psychotropic medications but also a specific psychotherapy focused on stabilization.
