Group therapy can be an effective treatment method even for severely traumatised people. But it must be adapted to the specific problems of trauma sequelae. The team of authors has fulfilled this task in a convincing manner with the first detailed treatment manual for trauma patients. It is based on the well-known trauma therapy "PITT", developed by Luise Reddemann and based on imagination work and resource orientation. The book consists of the treatment manual, which is made available to all group participants, and the conceptual basis for the therapists' hand.
