The Niko school book offers a combination of learning to read and syllable work, differentiated reading texts, and tasks related to the texts. It includes speaking and writing opportunities from the three areas of requirements of the educational standards, as well as proper writing from the very beginning with vocabulary training in the basic vocabulary. Additionally, it features Niko's green pages on the core topics of the subject lessons and methodology pages for learning how to learn. It is approved for the 2016 primary school curriculum in Baden-Württemberg.
