Global Challenges Volume 2: Shaping Our World for the Future

How can we shape our world for the future? For about 20 years, we have been discussing the global challenges of the 21st century. These include, for example, the rapid process of urbanization, population development, and migration trends. This thematic volume addresses global problem areas and their interconnections, examines current conditions, issues, and conflicts, and presents possible solutions. One thing is common to all these areas: they existentially affect the future of people and their living space on Earth. This ultimately means that each of us is called upon to educate ourselves and contribute to solutions.
