During the printing of the manuscript of the introduction as well as the first and second sections of "Being and Time," which was completed at the beginning of 1926, Heidegger continues to work on the third section "Time and Being." However, at the end of December 1926, he decides to abandon this initial draft in order to tackle a new version of the third section of the first part of "Being and Time" in the lecture of the summer semester 1927, titled "The Fundamental Problems of Phenomenology." The overall content of the fundamental problems of phenomenology in their systematics and justification consists of a discussion of the fundamental question regarding the meaning of Being in general and the problems arising from it: the ontological difference between Being and beings, the basic articulation of Being in What-being and How-being (essentia and existentia), and the questions regarding the possible.
