At 15, Michael must leave his sheltered world behind. He ends up in an urban neighborhood where he doesn't know the rules, and where violence and crime reign. Theft, skipping school, and drinking beer are part of the daily life of his new friends. For Michael, this means: adapt or perish. When some classmates terrorize him and nearly kill him, he tries to escape from this gang. But to do so, he must pay a high price.
