The KOBRA 270 TS C4 shredder (particle cut 3.9 x 40 mm) is a P-4 security level shredder with a 110-liter collection bin. It can shred up to 20 sheets of A4 paper (80 g/m²) in a single pass. The display features a touchscreen with LED indicators. The EPC Electronic Power Control shows the throughput capacity and ensures optimal shredding without paper jams. The ENERGY-SMART function puts the KOBRA shredder into standby mode after 8 seconds of inactivity and automatically shuts it down completely after 4 hours.

The shredder has an automatic reverse function that releases shredded material in the event of a paper jam. It allows for continuous operation around the clock without overheating or interruptions. The robust chain drive with metal gears and hardened steel cutting units with a carbon coating enables trouble-free shredding of paper clips and staples. Additionally, it allows for the separate shredding of paper, CDs, DVDs, and credit cards.

An automatic oiler is optionally available and provides an integrated cleaning and lubrication system. The SHRED GUARD metal detection system signals in case of accidental feeding of larger metal parts and immediately stops the shredder's motor to ensure optimal protection of the shredding mechanism. The easy emptying of the plastic bag is facilitated by a bag holder on wheels, making bag changes simpler. All shredders in the KOBRA TS series are equipped with chain drives and metal gears, ensuring high reliability.
