The economy is in an unprecedented contradiction: on one hand, economic and corporate scandals are rapidly increasing. Almost every week, the global public is astonished by the ethical misconduct of so-called flagship companies. On the other hand, neoliberal economic theory, under which all of this occurs, is facing unprecedented intense criticism. This presents an opportunity to rethink business ethics in a new and deeper way.
