An authentic interreligious cooperation in research and teaching begins with intra- and interreligious self-assurance processes. Accordingly, the foundational volume of the series "Studies in Interreligious Religious Education" is based on numerous discussions among the authors, from which the anthropological starting point emerged, further expanded by a theological perspective on religious educational and didactic processes. The established foundations represent approaches and attitudes that support competent planning, leading, and evaluating of educational processes in plural and heterogeneous fields.
