"What is man?" This question is as old as humanity itself. To this day, it is answered in many different ways. There can be no definitive answer. Nevertheless, the question remains important, as it seems to be part of human nature to ask about oneself. Theological anthropology brings an independent perspective to the conversation about humanity. It starts from the relationship between humans, God, and fellow creatures, and from there inquires about humanity's place in the world. The starting point is the Bible and what it says about humanity as a document of faith.
