In this six-session training, children are involved in the therapy; both parents and children receive three sessions each. This way, children are engaged in addressing sleep issues and fostering a sense of self-efficacy. They are assisted by Kalimba, a magical leopard, who provides extensive support with his magical spots. The playful approach makes the training interesting for the children, allowing them to retain and effectively implement all the strategies learned, despite their young age. Parents learn to apply favorable parenting strategies and to distinguish whether fear or the need for influence or power is at the forefront of the child's sleep problems, and what they can do as parents to address these issues.
