The artist Gee Vero and the psychologist Melanie Matzies-Köhler engage in a dialogue in letter form in this work. They get to know each other and their diverging worlds of perception, and by the end, not only has a solid bridge of mutual understanding developed, but also a friendship. The non-autistic psychologist Mel questions the autistic artist Gee about her perception, the stumbling blocks in everyday life, views on life and death, friendship, and many other topics, which Gee answers with great openness. Mel responds to Gee's questions in the same way and attempts to explain her non-autistic worldview, its conventions, and rules.
