This workbook aims to enhance the biblical-theological competence of religious educators. It provides an exploration of important text groups and themes from the New Testament: the Sermon on the Mount, parables, miracle stories, the Passion of Jesus, Easter/resurrection, prayer/Our Father, the Last Supper, poverty/wealth, woman/man, interpretations of Jesus, Paul, the history of early Christianity, and more. For the fourth edition, the chapter on Paul has been restructured and significantly expanded. The Christological specifics of each Gospel have been added, along with an exploration of the Apocalypse. A key intention of the book is to demonstrate the relevance of biblical impulses for the church and society, alongside the development of foundational knowledge.
