The work examines, building on the Master Agreement of the car manufacturer Opel from 2010, investment agreements between companies and the employee side. The employees make concessions, particularly regarding working hours and compensation, while the employer commits to specific investment measures. The study assesses the regulation of investment commitments from the perspectives of collective bargaining law, labor constitution law, and corporate law, as well as issues of legal nature, enforceability, and termination. Additionally, the work addresses the legal consequences of any invalidity of individual regulatory contents. The author provides a detailed discussion of contractual sanction mechanisms that enable the employee side to compel the company to fulfill its investment commitments.
