In hypnotherapy according to Milton H. Erickson, the appreciative and resource-oriented attitude towards the client and his symptoms plays a prominent role. Together with strategies of systemic therapy, this results in effective possibilities of support for patients and relatives in a time of particular physical, psychological and social stress. The book describes the basics of hypnosystemic communication with examples from psycho-oncological and medical therapy and counselling. The focus of the support and treatment of tumour patients and their relatives is the joint search for and finding of individually and situationally adapted strategies. This creative and particularly effective form of support is illustrated by a total of 13 authors using the example of their psycho-oncological and medical fields of activity.
