A woman sits in front of the mirror, comparing her reflection with a portrait photo. Any differences are corrected with makeup. She discovers flakes on her skin, steps into the bathroom, and travels as the Flake Woman through dreamlike and everyday sequences. She meets Xander, who wants to photograph her. As an interpreter, she disappears in the middle of a business dinner and encounters a mysterious woman at night, whom she cannot find again during the day.
