During their quest for secrets, the authors were accompanied by locals who are well-versed in the city's history. They made discoveries that were sometimes tragic and sometimes almost unbelievable. The stories in this book recount the fate of a wife murderer and the final journey of a heretic, a disappointed suitor, and a great mistake that befell a statue in the cathedral. With each relic the authors have identified, an exciting piece of city history can also be told.
