This book is aimed at seriously aspiring young engineers, not at those who are content to simply trace templates without understanding the thought processes and considerations that lead to the final product. It repeatedly becomes evident that even the smallest design tasks presented to beginners without a model can pose such significant challenges that they risk getting lost in endless trial and error without purposeful guidance. For this reason, the author, drawing from decades of teaching experience, has attempted to present a methodical work plan in a clear and organized manner, enabling beginners to achieve their goals in their design exercises through rational means. As experience shows, this approach fosters a joy in designing and strengthens self-confidence.
