Learning Objectives

The goal is to prepare participants linguistically for everyday life in Korea, for successful communication in the workplace, while traveling, and during leisure time. Mastery of the material presented here will approximately reach the language level of the CEFR A2.

Concept

The textbook includes an introduction to the Korean script Hangeul as the first lesson, followed by 16 additional lessons featuring dialogues, texts, exercises, and a grammar section. It also integrates information on cultural studies and cultural standards such as hierarchy and group orientation. The appendix contains a grammar overview, translations of all dialogues and texts, as well as a comprehensive glossary of Korean-German sorted by Hangeul. The teaching materials include an audio CD in mp3 format with all dialogues and texts.
