In criminal law, misconceptions of the parties involved (perpetrator or participant) are a popular - yet challenging - exam topic in the study of law, as well as in other training and degree programs with criminal law content. This casebook not only provides a clear system of all errors but also presents numerous cases abstractly with their variety of opinions, evaluates them, and weighs them according to their relevance for exams. At the center are 46 small, easily understandable practice scenarios with formulated solutions and argumentative statements. Prof. Dr. Waltraud Nolden is a fully qualified lawyer, a long-time criminal defense attorney, and since 2016, a law professor specializing in criminal law at the FH Polizei Sachsen-Anhalt, where she had previously been a lecturer since 2012. She is also a certified higher education didactics workshop leader by the Hochschuldidaktischen Weiterbildung NRW. Since 2019, she has been a co-spokesperson for the nationwide didactics network of all police universities "DIDaktik." Among her numerous publications is the textbook "Grundstudium Strafrecht," a practice-oriented presentation, which is set to be published in its 7th edition by Beck Verlag in 2025.
