When thinking about customer loyalty in connection with gas stations, one might initially think of large-scale card programs and company-wide collection campaigns. In his current study, Michael Schulz adopts the perspective of the individual gas station operator and examines customer satisfaction as well as their loyalty and attachment to a specific gas station. To this end, Schulz develops a detailed measurement tool to determine this satisfaction and loyalty through an empirical study and to derive targeted, practically implementable measures.
