How do children explain a concept that we adults struggle to grasp through countless wise books and thoughts? Together with children, Leipzig illustrator Christina Röckl developed texts that she translated into images and brought together in this work. A picture book for adults, conceived by children, making the abstraction of a concept tangible in words and images.

From the content: The soul sits in the stomach area. It resides throughout the whole body. The soul is deep inside the heart. Or in the foot. The soul is located at the side of the head. Overall, it is as big as the eyes. Actually, the soul could be anywhere. In the evening, the soul flies out of a person, which is why one falls asleep. One feels like they are dead, but they do not actually die.
