Erich Rauschenbach has been incredibly successful in drawing and painting for around four decades, focusing on perhaps the greatest of all life themes: the relationship between the sexes. He approaches this with an extremely keen eye, with boldness, irreverence, and depth. While he doesn't offer solutions for the everyday madness between botany and the office, between the bar and the bed, no one describes this madness as sensitively and pointedly, as humorously and also reconciliatory as he does.
