Moira is sixteen. Since her parents' separation, nothing has been normal for her. She now lives with her mother Melanie and her little sister Lucy on the outskirts of Hamburg and commutes daily to her old school to keep in touch with her friends Flo and Nina. At home, she often encounters a detached mother who is hardly responsive, which leads Moira to be plagued by undefined premonitions. When she meets Nils, it seems that the chaos in her life begins to dissipate a bit. But then her mother undergoes a radical change, develops strange behaviors, and is temporarily admitted to a clinic after a psychosis. For Moira, a time begins in which she has many questions for which she has no answers. Her mother must now take medication. Daily life is a burden for everyone; Moira is accompanied by worries and has to cope.
