The Swiss National Museum possesses one of the most important archaeological collections of the Southern Alps region, featuring finds and documents from the necropolis of Giubiasco, excavated in the early 20th century. Documentation, findings, and artifacts from the partially unscientifically excavated burial site have now been completely and systematically processed for the first time.

The third volume of the Giubiasco publication presents and illustrates the finds from the Late Bronze Age, the Early Iron Age, as well as the Early and Middle La Tène period. The corresponding grave inventories are examined for their chronological coherence.

The book includes a detailed analysis of the chronological structure, spatial distribution, and burial customs of the population interred in Giubiasco during that time. The text is in French and Italian, with summaries in German.
