Uncanny, subtle, and humorous – this is how the exhibition "Fools" by Danish painter Michael Kvium is described. It is all the more surprising that the renowned knitwear designer Annette Danielsen has drawn inspiration from these paintings and translated the incredible images of the painter into graphic knitting patterns. However, there is no reason to worry: the designs in "Uncanny. Beautiful. Knitted." are charming, friendly, and beautiful. The inspiration for each design is illustrated by the respective Kvium painting.
