Dafi Kühne is a Swiss designer who works with both analog and digital tools to create fresh and unique posters using the letterpress technique. Utilizing various production tools—from computers to pantographs—his compositions push the boundaries of design. Unafraid of getting his hands dirty, Dafi Kühne incorporates the entire creative process of a poster in his workshop, from the initial idea to the finished product. He combines modern methods with the centuries-old tradition of letterpress printing, creating a new vocabulary of contemporary communication through typography and form. His works are not retro and provide clever responses in the search for new ways of graphic expression: true print graphics.
