"Make love not war," "Be realistic, demand the impossible," "No power for anyone," "We are the 99%" - throughout the history of the past decades, there has been a constant stream of resistant expressions and practices regarding the prevailing conditions. What breaks through from the margins of society to its center, often chaotic and unrestrained, sometimes violent, and rarely controllable, manifests itself in the form of protest. This takes place in real or virtual spaces and is enacted by equally real and virtual bodies. The spaces and bodies to which the protest refers are those of politics and society. Skillfully and creatively, it employs current signs and symbols, subverts and transforms them, creates new aesthetics and meanings, and thus opens a space that eludes control. Irony.
