Lavinia's journey to Lidor is becoming increasingly dangerous and arduous. Guldur's army is already hot on her heels. If the metamorphosis into the powerful Albaril is prevented, no one will be able to oppose his power and tyrannical rule. However, the road to Lidor, where the metamorphosis must take place, is still long, and Lavinia is growing weaker. Her first servant, Purledu, who possesses wisdom and magical abilities, can temporarily halt the metamorphosis, but cannot delay it indefinitely. If the transformation begins before Lavinia reaches Lidor, she will die, as it cannot occur without the prescribed ceremonies; Lavinia needs help and time during the metamorphosis, which she can only receive in Lidor. Along her journey, she encounters friends she did not expect.
