Every four years, we compile the large-format comics that appear monthly on the last page of the German edition of "Le Monde diplomatique." The third volume in this series brings together the 50 most exciting and innovative artists currently in the German and international comic scene. The comics include works by Anna Haifisch, Jens Harder, Barbara Yelin, Max Baitinger, Robert Deutsch, Michael DeForge, Julie Doucet, Hamed Eshrat, and Tom Gauld, among others. Karoline Bofinger, the editor of the volume, selects the artists each month who contribute to the comic page of "Le Monde diplomatique," capturing their personal perspectives on international politics and current events.
