Systematic Competence Acquisition

In the fourteen chapters of the book, the topics of the ethics curriculum are developed around specific subject-related competencies. This way, each content is always connected to a competency:

• Each chapter includes a double page dedicated to competence acquisition, where learning occurs through an example and is practiced in an application task.
• 14 learning tasks support the competency course and offer differentiation options.
• Goal formulations at the beginning of each chapter and test pages for reviewing and applying what has been learned at the end of each chapter create transparency for the learners and support their motivation.

Three Steps to Understanding Texts: The insights from reading research are consistently taken into account. All texts are worked on and processed in three steps:
