Abstract: This paper discusses the pros and cons of grading in the subject of Sports. It is a topic of high relevance, as discussions about the abolition of physical education classes are not likely to fade away soon. In particular, the potential elimination of grading in sports would lead to a loss of legitimacy for the subject. Due to this "threat," the sports grade must remain a component of physical education, but it should be modified. This means that among the numerous proposals for educational assessment in the subject of Sports, there are certainly ideas to be found for the open-minded reader.
