Your students will explore these and other exciting questions from the everyday realm of combinatorics and probability at the stations of this workshop. On worksheets featuring various diagrams such as bar charts, column charts, and tree diagrams, the children will graphically represent data. They will also discover how many combinatorial possibilities exist within the situations presented in the material. Considerations of whether certain scenarios can be classified as impossible, unlikely, equally likely, likely, or certain round out the material. The stations, which are partially differentiated, take into account different learning levels.
