What is a rondel? How do you write an elfchen or a haiku? What is meant by a snowball poem, a rap, or a stepped poem? In our workshop, your students will learn about these and other forms of poetry in an uncomplicated way. Difficult meters and complex stanza structures are avoided. In the first four stations, word material on the theme of leisure is collected, which the students can use as vocabulary in their works. Composed poems can be written on decorative sheets after a spelling check. At the end of the workshop, the children choose how they would like to present their poems and receive suggestions for organizing an author reading or a poster presentation.
