The volume from the series "The Little Essay School" is divided into a package for retelling fables and a package for retelling a short story. Each package consists of worksheets that enable children to write their own retellings step by step. For all exercises with fixed solutions, you will find answer sheets in the appendix. Additionally, the folder contains a note on retelling and a spinner with word and sentence aids. There is also an ideas box, which includes suggestions for creative games and impulses to approach the topic in a completely different way, for example, for free work. To implement some of the contents from the ideas box, children will need decorative sheets. A few particularly beautiful ones are included as photocopy templates.
