How did the ancient Egyptians write and calculate? Which gods did they worship? What were the names of the builders of famous pyramids? Did people already live in houses? Your students will find answers to these and other questions in our learning workshop. Additionally, they will engage with ancient Egypt historically, practically, and artistically. They will learn about Egypt's geographical location, discover how the ancient Egyptians lived, dressed, and adorned themselves, how they celebrated, and what they ate and drank. The children will explore hieroglyphs, measure with cubits, bake flatbread, and create vessels from modeling clay. The ancient Egyptians' relationship with cats will also be discussed.
