From A for cultivation to Z for dark chocolate: In this workshop, your students will follow the creation of a very popular and well-known chocolate product in this country. The students will get a behind-the-scenes look and learn where cocoa beans come from, how they are grown and transported, and what steps are necessary for them to ultimately become chocolate. In addition to theory, practical experience is also included: your students will taste different chocolate varieties or create their own chocolate products. Content that encourages self-reflection rounds off the workshop, prompting children to reflect on their own chocolate consumption or to engage with issues such as child labor on cocoa farms and Fairtrade.
