Many elementary school children who struggle with reading comprehension lack the foundational skills. It is often overlooked that students must first master the corresponding reading skills before they can understand texts. This volume contains a practical and application-oriented training program that helps children learn to read more confidently, quickly, and accurately. Initially, the learning status of each student is assessed using diagnostic sheets. The subsequent training consists of selected texts with exercises that cover all essential areas of reading skills: visual perception, letter level, word perception level, sentence level, and sound formation. The reading skills training is accompanied by a learning portfolio, which secures and reflects the results.
