The "Fontes Christiani" series offers in each volume the text in its original language along with a new translation. An introduction reflects the current state of research. Notes and an index provide access to the work. The selection of writings aims for the broadest possible reception. It includes "classic texts" that have particularly shaped the thinking of their respective times. Additionally, lesser-known works are included that deserve new exploration and dissemination, and are being published in German translation for the first time. Series 2 consists of 15 volumes in a total of 30 parts and has been published by Herder Verlag. Each title is available in both a hardcover edition with a brick-red linen cover and a more affordable paperback edition. The volumes can be purchased individually.
