Product details
The biography of a woman who dared to defy the norm in the first half of our century and assert her own ideas. Annemarie Schwarzenbach, born in 1908 as the daughter of an influential Swiss family, worked as a writer, photojournalist, archaeologist, and traveled to many countries around the world. Despite this, she was not happy and sought solace in the haze of morphine. A certain sense of security came from her friendship with Klaus and Erika Mann, whose homoerotic inclinations she shared.
